From the Artist
Nature has always been a great
source of joy for me. My love of
all types of birds was initially fostered by my Mother. Later
in life, I lived "on the water," as they in say in southern Florida,
for 16 years where we
had egrets and herons literally in our front yard. Today
I thoroughly enjoy and encourage nesting birds in
my sculpture garden in Georgia.
Birds
will always be a spiritual
and aesthetic link for me. As I became involved in archaeology and
mythology, the symbolic nature of birds
became a fascination and
additional inspiration for my art work. Some type of bird can
almost always be found
somewhere in my more complicated
paintings. The Cara Studios logo evolved with the
years into Celtic bird design followed by my newest
endeavor, a
12 foot triptych of a Celtic theme. It has more than two
hundred birds in the first panel. Look for Enjoy this portfolio!
